" Improve your pre-shot routine"

Three golf specific stretches

Side of lower back

Stand upright with your feet together.
Raise both arms up and grip hands.
Keep the lower half of your body still and lean to the right.
Hold for about 5 seconds.
This stretch is designed to stretch out the side and the lower part of your back

Repeat and lean to the left to stretch your right side.

Stretch 1 Stretch 1 Stretch 1

Back of Shoulder

Stand upright with your feet at shoulders width.
Extend your right arm across your chest and hold with the left hand.
This stretch will stretch the back of the shoulder.
Hold for about 5 seconds.

Repeat with left arm to stretch out left side

Stretch 2 Stretch 2

Tricep Stretch

Stand upright with your feet at shoulders width.
With a golf club in your hand raise your right arm up and place it between your shoulder blades allow the club to hang down your spine.
Place left arm behind you back and take hold of the club.
With your left arm gently pull down to increase the stretch.
Hold for about 5 seconds.

Repeat with left arm to stretch out left side.

Stretch 3 Stretch 3

Improve you flexibility with this easy drill:

Stand upright with your feet shoulders width apart.
Flex your knees and bend from your waist.
Place your golf club behind your shoulders.
Look at an object on the ground.
Turn your shoulders back to the right maintaining your posture.
Turn through to the left side and hold your follow-through.

Reverse for a left handed swing.
