40 Balls > technique with mid irons.
Using drills discussed in lessons, no reaction to quality of shot or strike – this is not a measure of success! – Video camera work or kinaesthetic (feeling through movement) is a true measure of improvement.
20 Balls > imagery
No technical thoughts, simply thinking of the target or desired trajectory is ideal. The more specific the image the better chance of success.
20 Balls > preshot routine
Full preshot routine, from pulling club out of bag to assessing the shot. If you want to improve on the course you must practice as though you are on the course. This should be stuck to and no short cuts taken.
10 Balls > warm down
5 full shot s and 5 short pitches. As with warm up, no thoughts just loosen down and leave the range with confidence.
